Terms of Trade & Commercial Conditions

1. Preamble & Application of Terms

These Terms of Trade govern all quotations, proforma invoices, manufacturing purchase orders, and sales of bullet-resistant glass, laminated safety glass, armored automotive assemblies, and delamination refurbishment services by Super Safety Solution ("Manufacturer") to any commercial buyer, defense contractor, or government procuring agency ("Buyer").

2. Ballistic Threat Ratings & Compliance Standards

All ballistic glass products are engineered and manufactured strictly to the agreed technical standard specified in the written purchase order:

• US NIJ Standard 0108.01 (Levels I, II-A, II, III-A, III, IV).
• Indian Standard IS 17051:2018 (Levels BR1 through BR7).
• European EN 1063 / BRV 2009 (BR2 through BR7).

Independent laboratory test reports issued by TBRL (DRDO), CFSL, or ICAT certify baseline ballistic compliance for the tested batch sample profile.

3. Dimensional Tolerances & Optical Clarity

Unless specified otherwise in signed technical engineering drawings:

• Thickness Tolerances: Total laminated thickness is subject to a standard manufacturing variance of ±1.0mm for panels under 30mm, and ±1.5mm for panels above 30mm.
• Fabrication & Edge Dimensions: Flat panels are manufactured within ±1.5mm dimensional tolerance; custom curved vehicle panels conform to master OEM jig profiles.
• Optical Transmission: Minimum 76% visible light transmission (VLT) on high-threat multi-ply architectural composites; no visible internal bubbles, voids, or delamination lines.

4. Factory Warranty & Delamination Protection (24 Months)

Super Safety Solution provides a limited manufacturer warranty of 24 months (2 Years) from the date of factory dispatch / invoice, covering manufacturing defects and spontaneous interlayer delamination (separation of glass plies or polymer cores resulting solely from factory autoclave lamination failure under normal operating conditions).

4.1. Mandatory Sealing & Installation Conditions

Because multi-layer laminated security and ballistic glass composites feature exposed polymer interlayers (PVB, PU, SGP, and polycarbonate) at their perimeter, proper hermetic edge sealing is an absolute prerequisite for warranty validity:

• Continuous Neutral-Cure Silicone Sealing: All glass perimeter edges, rebates, and joints must be 100% continuously and properly sealed using certified, non-reactive neutral-cure structural silicone sealant specifically verified as chemically compatible with laminated glass interlayers.
• Compatible Gaskets & Setting Blocks: Only non-plasticized, non-migrating setting blocks (e.g., compatible silicone or dense high-durometer non-leaching neoprene) and compatible dry glazing gaskets may be used.
• Mandatory Drainage Weep Holes: All framing channels (architectural or automotive) must feature active, unobstructed drainage weep holes to ensure zero moisture accumulation, water ponding, or capillary water entrapment around glass edges.

4.2. Explicit Exclusions & Void Conditions (Strictly Out of Scope)

Delamination, optical haze, bubbling, moisture ingress, or edge separation is strictly OUT OF SCOPE and voids all warranty protection under any of the following circumstances:

• Improper or Incomplete Sealing: Any glass panel that is unsealed, partially sealed, or improperly sealed with silicone, adhesive, or rubber during site or vehicle installation.
• Incompatible Chemical Contact: Direct or indirect exposure of glass edges to unapproved adhesives, acidic/acetic-cure silicones, solvent-based adhesives, polyurethanes, curing agents, mastics, or aggressive petrochemical sealants that chemically react with or degrade the interlayer.
• Incompatible Rubbers or Gaskets: Direct contact with plasticized PVC, oil-leaching rubber gaskets, bitumen, acidic tapes, or materials that migrate plasticizers or chemical solvents into the edge composite.
• Water Trapping & Prolonged Moisture Exposure: Edge delamination resulting from water pooling, continuous condensation, lack of drainage weep holes, submerged channel frames, or high-humidity entrapment within unventilated frames.
• Site Modifications & Edge Damage: Any field cutting, trimming, grinding, edge modification, hole drilling, chipping, framing pinch-points, or mechanical damage sustained after factory dispatch.
• Structural Frame Deflection: Stress fractures or edge unbonding caused by structural building settlement, seismic movement, framing twist, or vehicle chassis flexing exceeding design limits.

4.3. Burden of Proof & Claim Inadmissibility

The burden of proof rests solely and entirely with the Buyer/Claimant to demonstrate that the glass was installed and 100% sealed in strict compliance with the manufacturer's sealing protocol. Any warranty claim must be accompanied by:

• Technical data sheets (TDS) and batch numbers of the neutral-cure silicone and rubber gaskets utilized.
• Photographic and engineering inspection records documenting intact continuous sealing, operational drainage weep holes, and the absence of standing water or chemical contamination.

In the absence of verified documentation confirming proper sealing and chemical compatibility, any warranty claim regarding edge delamination, bubbling, or moisture ingress shall be categorically denied, deemed out of scope, and legally inadmissible.

5. Autoclave Refurbishment Services

For delamination restoration of third-party or aged panels, our autoclave refurbishment restores 80% optical clarity. Warranty terms for repaired panels are explicitly stated in individual service quotations.

6. Packaging, Dispatch & Transit Insurance

All products are packed in heavy-duty export-grade ISPM-15 heat-treated wooden crates with foam cushioning. Risk of transit loss passes to the Buyer upon handover to the freight carrier unless CIF/Door Delivery is contracted in writing.

7. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

All commercial transactions, quotations, and disputes shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. The courts of Sonipat, Haryana shall have exclusive legal jurisdiction.
